I suppose an easier way is to choose the realtek controller from device manager and just uninstall the driver from there, but at the time I wasn’t sure how to solve the problem and I was almost sure it was a hardware issue and I was thinking my volume rocker was broken or stuck so I was just messing around in settings when this happened to work for me.
